When Do You Need a Level 3 Survey?

A Building Survey is strongly recommended in the following circumstances:

Properties that have been substantially extended, converted or altered — where the quality of the work and any impact on the original structure needs careful, detailed assessment.

Level 2 or Level 3 — Which Do I Need?

A Building Survey (Level 3) is more detailed and appropriate for older, unusual or complex properties, or where you want the fullest picture possible. It covers all accessible areas in greater depth with more detailed advice on defects, causes and recommended action.
